As e-Commerce Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for building and merchandising digital content, ensuring the content is presented with quality and accuracy on our eCommerce platform. You maintain and improve the webshop on a daily basis to improve consumer experience and drive sales.
Your mission
Be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of e-Commerce marketplace activities, e.g. uploads, maintaining and updating content, category and product data ensuring the assortment is beautifully and strategically merchandised across the site
Manage new product launches and ensure delivery on-time in full
Build and maintain category pages and product detail pages and ensure that product images and description copy is optimized to communicate all necessary information to the consumer
Update homepage and subpage content on ongoing basis across different webshops and languages
Regular auditing of available products online to ensure it is appropriately represented with the consumer in mind
Carry out regular “site walks” to ensure 100% accuracy at all times
Execute promotional activities, set markdowns and promotions in the online store and ensure correct price display
Work closely with Marketing, Art Department, Web Development, Operations and Customer Service teams to improve efficiencies, sales and consumer experience
Work closely with Web Development and SAP teams for regular and ad-hoc CMS tasks as well as Masterdata maintenance and accuracy
Liaise with Product Marketing & Development to ensure correct product information and details
Collaborate with the e-Commerce-, Category Management, Brand Marketing and IT team for site optimizations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, search- and navigation improvements and execution of brand campaigns
Support reporting on e-Commerce trade, category and product performance
What you'll bring
Experience as a Merchandiser, Category Manager or Project Manager, in an agency, retail or eCommerce company
Experience in using and maintaining Content Management Systems like Shopware and product databases like SAP
You are a strong communicator and have very good German and English skills
You have a hands-on mentality and a problem-solving mindset
You have first experience with project management tools such as Jira/Confluence.
You think and act with the consumer in mind Thanks to your organizational skills, you maintain an overview even in complex situations and can handle multiple projects and task in parallel
An open and positive way of thinking, initiative and team spirit complete your profile.
Passion for Mountain biking is a plus
