Erik Irmisch

Erik Irmisch comes from the serene city of Lößnitz, Germany and has been riding for YT Industries since 2010. One of the greatest successes of the downhill bagger is the overall title in the iXS Downhill Cup and the 3rd place in the overall ranking of the iXS European Dowhillup in 2019. His riding style is nothing like his mellow personality, so it's perfectly fitting for him to serve as our main prototype test rider. Known to push a bike to its limit, we're confident that if a bike is good enough for "The Irm", it's good enough for you.

The TUES 29" is my go to for racing! I ride a size long with a reach adjusment headset backwords which sets me up at 474mm reach. My front fork, the Rockshox BoXXer Ultimate, is set pretty stiff with 163psi and 3 tokens. I'm riding a stock L1 compression tune with 400lbs spring on my Rockshox Super Deluxe. It is set a bit softer compared to the front.
